Title: I\'m looking to buy a new console.

I already have PS2. I can\'t decide between Gamecube and XBOX .  What do you guys reccomend?

depends on what you want out of your games

most people here are poting for the PS2 / X box combo

and that works for them

but if you just have to have the next Zelda game the its NGC

but then you miss out on Project Ego

etc etc etc.............

best thing to do is do some reserch into both console and see which one has the games you desire the most.

im askin my self the same question. ngm or x box. why i know x box will probably be better it is like 400 dollars, and gamecube is half that price plus i cant miss out on the new zelda game. i might as well get both systems

But if we did, I personally would recommend a Gamecube.

Anyway, the other guys are right - make up your own mind; everyone has different tastes (that\'s why we get to come here and argue why each of our tastes are better and more accurate than everyone else\'s).

Actually, since my tastes are better and more accurate than most, you probably should buy a Gamecube anyhow.  ;]

get an Xbox it has more support and will really shine in its 2nd and 3rd gen titles since it is more powerful and has a harddrive to boot

I would have to agree with Ddaryl here, but if you like the big name nintendo titles like Zelda and Mario then maybe you should get a GC

I think that I\'m gonna go with the Cube.  I love the zelda series, and I want to get the new Perfect Dark when it comes out. Plus, it\'s cheaper.  I\'ll get an XBOX next year for Christmas.  Thanks for your help.
