TAMPA, Fla. (AP) - The 15-year-old who crashed a small plane into a skyscraper wrote a note expressing sympathy for Osama bin Laden (news - web sites) and support for the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks, police said Sunday.

I don\'t know what to think about this one.

The kid obvioulsy didn\'t have both oars in the water

out to lunch, gone fishing, bats in the belfry


I think the kid was a few trombones short of a marching band

The guy killed himself, with that tiny airplane into a building to make a statement that he could relate to Binny Laden\'s plight?  COME ON!  We all KNOW this is the parents fault. :D

Thats not entirely true. I know plenty of people with chitty parents and they came out A-OK. I refuse to accept a poor parenting excuse evrytime someone F\'s up in this country. Everyone has choices in life, this kid made poor ones.

Here in Tampa they have been going nuts over this story.  It\'s really getting freaking annoying.  We even had a reporter here from freaking JAPAN!!!  Wanted to know why we would let such young people fly planes.  People, if you want to kill yourself, there really isn\'t much that can be done to stop you.  What I really don\'t like is that he flew right over MacDill AFB (Central Command) and nothing was done about it.  They had to send fighters over from Miami.  Didn\'t make it in time.  Where the hell is the patrol around Tampa???  We have the most important air base in the country right now with all central command coming out of it..


A kid killed himself by crashing a plane into a building.  He did it on a weekend.  No one was hurt.  Let the story die.  They are just hurting so much for news that it\'s killing them.

He did odd jobs for a flight school.  Clean planes etc...  In trade they gave him flight hours and training.

He was in the plane warming it up.  Getting it through pre-flight.  Not much the instructors can do when you have a trusted individual warming up the plane for you like he had done many times in the past.

I bet people will start to blame video games. Video games are the scapegoats for all of kid\'s screw ups. In the Colombine school shooting, everyone was blaming it on violent video games and parents wanted them taken off the shelves. It\'s never really video games. If a parent doesn\'t like violent videogames, DON\'T FREAKING BUY THEM. I hate it when games are always blamed.

I was relieved that everyone in the building was alright. All they have to do is a little bit in repairs to the building.

HAHAHA i was laughing when i saw this in the paper. . .the idiot wanted to be like the taliban so he crashes a plane into a bank but all he did was kill himself

im sorry but thats too funny, not to be cold hearted or anything but its one less problem to worry about
