Title: freezing with tokyo etreme racer zero
Post by: 420_247_365 on January 08, 2002, 12:38:40 PM: i cant play more than 5 min without the game freezing.
its a brand new game with no scratches on it not even any smudges.
i cant understand it.
wasent the ps2 supposed to be amazing?
so far i think its nothing but problems!

I\'ve completed Tokyo Xtreme Racer and it froze twice during the games whole life time.

Post by: dajo on January 08, 2002, 01:48:09 PM: Sounds like to me you don\'t even have a PS2. All you have done since you\'ve been here is ridicule their system. If you do have one and it\'s defective, quit crying about it and take the damn thing back and get a new one. It\'s really that simple.

There are millions of happy PS2 owners out there, me being one of them. My PS2 broke, big freaking whoop! I didn\'t care, I took it back and got a brand new one. Nuff said.

Post by: 420_247_365 on January 09, 2002, 05:03:13 AM: i exchanged the ps2 for a new one and the new ones dvd doesent work so i guess ill have to return it again. Its just a pain in the ass having to return the same thing for a different problem every time. the original PS2 that i had would only play THPS3 and Smugglers run. Picture this u go out and buy a great game u get home and sit back in your chair and flick on the PS2. You wait for the game to load up and start to play. About 5 min go by and it freezes im not bashing the PS2 cause even though it has its problems its still way better than gamecube.

420...: I\'ve also had problems with my PS2 and their still evident today. I\'ve been through many PS2s and had many long phone conversations with the staff at Sony. Your not the only one who has had **** PS2 consoles. Theres quite a few on this board. Hope you get it sorted. I myself have made my opinions of the Sony company very clear.

Post by: 420_247_365 on January 10, 2002, 03:48:48 AM: last night i got a refund from costco for my screwd up PS2 and i went to future shop to purchase a new PS2. Now i am very happy to say all my games work! my PS2 is amazing. X box sucks balls!

Hehe, thanks, I did almost miss it.

It does suck that he keeps getting screwed, though. We had two PS2s returned with broken DVD drives after Christmas this year. (From say, the dozen that we carried.) The trays wouldn\'t eject all the way so you couldn\'t put anything in them.

I tried to fix it to save the store some cash, but the best I could do was get it stuck in the open position instead of closed...
