I would like to become a playstation programmer. What do I need to learn as far as programming languages go, and what skills do i need to acquire? Please help me asap.

For starters you would need a programing degree. Once you had the right credentials, you could just call around and find a game developer looking for programers.
I don\'t think you could auctually learn the PS2 programming language outside of PS2. I could be wrong though. I\'m not exactly sure what language it is. I\'ve been intrested in that info myself.
If anyone knows the exact language I\'d like to have that information.

Well the industry is forever changing so its best to get a good solid degree first and chances are the company you will work for will teach you all the in\'s and out\'s of how they work.
Im currently doing a Computer Science degree, a games programmer is definatly one of the jobs I would be interested in doing when im finished. After saying that though im not sure if I can do this since I think art skills are one of the attributes these companies look for (which im not sure if my degree covers what they want in art skills), although it just depends what part of the gaming industry you want to enter I guess. Although at the moment im not sure what I want to do when I finish but I still have plenty of time to decide. :)
