sonic the hedgehog swinging from the rear view mirror? I loved that game, and cant remember the name of it for the life of me.

OMG... hahaha..

I remember when I was on vacation in Australia a few years ago (going again this spring break!), I played that game in some arcade like crazy! I too forget the name. :(

AlteredBeast I think I got it..............Rad mobile(a 1st gen title) on the sega saturn  I think that was the game with the little sonic thing your talking about.

i think it is RAD racer

its in California Man (the movie)

you know that bit where they are at the ice ring and Link gets hit by the bad guy.

infact i think Link (aka Brendon Fraser) plays it at one point in the film

actually it is called \'Encino Man\', and yes, Brendan Fraser does play it in the movie.
