Title: PS2 won\'t play Fast and the Furious?
Post by: theomen on January 09, 2002, 07:52:54 PM: Has any1 else tries to play the movie The Fast and The Furious on their PS2? Because mine just won\'t do it, I get the Disc Read Error message. Originally I thought it was a dirty laser lense so i cleaned it and still nothing, then i tried to play other dvd\'s and they all work, but Fast and Furious still doesn\'t play.

I\'ve experienced one DVD that the Xbox can\'t play, Moulin Rouge. After about an hour, it starts to skip around and the picture starts going to crap. It could be the actual DVD though. I\'ll have to buy/rent another copy too see for sure...

Post by: theomen on January 09, 2002, 08:07:48 PM: I\'ve played about a 75-80 dvds on my ps2 so far, and this is the first that wouldn\'t play, and it\'s the first that i\'ve had any prob w/ what so ever.

Gladiator won\'t even play on mine...that made me mad...cuz I bought it for my dad for Christmas...:/ Had to get it on VHS cuz I don\'t have another DVD player...

I think this is due to the PS2s advanced quality standards in that it won\'t play utter crap..

It won\'t read Gladiator at all...just says "Disc Read Error". I had the same problem with "Remember the Titans"...:/

EDIT: Oh yeah...one of "The Simpsons" special edition DVDs played like crap and skipped every 5 seconds...
