Title: Fiber Optic Connector for PS2

I would like to hook up the fiber optic audio connection of my PS2 to my receiver.  Is the connection on the back of the PS2 proprietary, or can I simply use the standard fiber optic cables currently available on the market.  Many thanks in Advance.

No, it\'s not proprietary; any standard optical cable should work.
