ive only just got it, so ill just tell you the reviews, ill tell you about anything else if there anything good!!!

yeah i bought this issue yesterday the SOE review seems pretty down seems like the reviewer h8ted the game casue it was too violent oh well lol

yeah i have that one the PSW mag i mean.
MAXIMO LOOKS SUPERB a tripple A title and on my MUST HAVE LIST !
also like the look of that super hero in the extras section ... i just hope it comes to the UK :D

yes it looks great i like the way the health is show by how much armor you have so if ur about to die your running around in ur boxer shorts :D

the beach landing looks like everything Wolfenstein promest and didn\'t deliver !
i mean the first level of Wolfenstein was going to be like a beach landing where you have to fight and get documents releveling the plot.
it was going to have Friendly AI\'s storming the beach
but i suppose thats Medal Of Honor JOB now :D

Wolfenstien is great Multiplayer and it has the beach level and its great fun.

i would but my connection is crap.
my 56k modem laggs like theres no tomorrow
but hey we can still meet up if you want to play (sometime next week ?).
ill PM you on monday as i am bogged down in work :(

Bearing in mind that most mags are written around 3-5 weeks before actual publication, I feel that PSW might have been a bit naughty with SOE, as it seems fairly strange that they\'re the only ones around who have actually reviewed the game.
A beta review perhaps? It\'ll be interesting to see how other reviews compare. I just hope it wasn\'t one of those \'exclusives\' that mags can be very guilty of.
Time will perhaps tell...

we;; the good news it im on 56k 2 :) so it should be fun i also play UT and Red faction 2 US is my fav it lags the least on 56k

You play UT via dial-up... Is it playable...? I have dial-up also so I stray away from such games. Maybe one day I will be offered a cable connection :rolleyes:

There\'s rain effects now and the resolution has been upped. it looks a whole lot cleaner.

It\'s hard to explain. You just have to try it for yourself. I\'d rent before buying. I know 1 person that loves it, but I don\'t and I\'m a huge Wipeout fan

yeah its really playable great fun beating those who have cable
just takes a little practice.

i\'m currently playing Wipeout for about one week, bought it last friday (autralian import PAL) and it\'s quite good, i really love this game.
IMO it\'s a killer app, the graphics are good (still a bit of aliasing), the game is really fast when you upgrade your ships, and it seems to be quite long :
i have 10 hours recorded
and about 12% of the game completed
the game itself is quite hard, and you\'ll have to really know the tracks to manage them...
you can choose :
arcade
ag league
challenge
zone (high speed mode)
time attack
multi player (awesome weapons)
the very good point is you can upgrade you ship in league by earning some credits, allowing them to : speed, thrust, brake force, stability, shield, weapon power....

cool i might have to rent it and see if iwanna buy it, i want a good motocycle game to go along with atv fury :)
