Title: using non-sony accessories....
Post by: slick on January 16, 2002, 07:43:24 PM
i was wondering, if i bought non-sony accessories, like mem card or a/v jack cables, would it screw my ps2 up?  should i just stick with the real sony stuff, so far i have, i got a 8mb sony mem card, and a sony dvd remote.  i dont care if the accessory gets ruined, but i dont want to shell out another $300 for the ps2.

it won\'t screw up your PS2 but 9 times outta 10 the cheaper non Sony brands aren\'t as reliable

AV cables I wouldn\'t worry about since SOny\'s are very basic

but mem cards and controllers are usualy sub par

 All my stuff is third party crap. And everything works as good as gold. I think Sony overprices their accessories.
