Post by: ElwayLite on January 16, 2002, 09:45:25 PM
ive seen on a couple of forums that the people who make Gran Turismo are hard at work on a Motorcycle game along the basis of GT3 with the same great graphics. anyone heard any about this?

Actually, GTC has been out in Japan for a couple of weeks now.  It placed #1 in the dengeki charts for both of those weeks (but this week was a whole lot slower than last week).

1. Gran Turismo Concept Tokyo (PS2) -- 49,910 (282,444)

And that motorcycle game is news to me too.  Personally, I hope they just work on GT4 and not get sidetracked with little games like that.  And if they really want a motorcycle game, they can always put motorcycles in GT4. :D

Veteran ? In what ? Posting crap ? Hehe, JK :)
But serious, what does it matter if one person have 2000 posts here and some other have 10 posts ??? The guy with 10posts can still know a lot more about games and anything else in this world.

Agnino: Just read some of a "veterans" posts and you´ll see what he/she might know and what not... it just was a misunderstanding... THE END :D

OK... back to the topic:
I think it would be great if there was a bike game like GT !!!
But it would be much better if they implement a few more things to the original GT first !

I want them to recreate that Gran Prix Toon game or whatever it was called.....that was their first game and I remember it played similar to GT (released about 2 years prior to GT)!

The creator of the GT series is mad about cars, not bikes.

I doubt they would venture into bikes as theres not a large market intrested in bikes.

this is funny. There are no such things as veterans and rookies on a message board, this aint a friggin football team sherlock. Just cuz someone has been on a BB longer than someone else has nothing to do with knowledge, how many folks have you seen with 3000+ posts still act like  an idiot, plenty, point proven, now get off your high horse and lets get back on topic.... I had been on IGN\'s PS2 board since June of last year, so dont think just cuz i am new here that it makes you any better or smarter since youre a "veteran" on this board.... hmmm, did i just disrespect anotehr veteran

Shut up newb, what I meant was he has been here longer and has earned the respect of people, while you on the other hand are just some newb, I couldn\'t tell you apart from the next one, I probably won \'t even remember your name after this, oh and the whole IGN boards thing, hell if you were there that long it might have made you even more stupid

well, theres always atleast 1 egomaniac on every bulletin board, so i thank you for showing yourself early, i can go ahead and put you on my list of members to ignore, even though i hate to do that since your a "veteran" and i might miss out on some splendid info, though i highly doubt it ;)

Number of posts wont make you more respected....... it is how you are on the msg boards...... and right now I have more respect for Elwaylite (32posts) then Bozco(3kposts). How much respect you can gain on a msg board is very limited too though, almost too stupid to talk about.

well if they do, i hope its a good/better than  gt3.

but i cant see it doing as well as motorbikes are not that popular, but i love them!!

Yes, a motorcycle game would be very cool. They look so fun to use. :D

Anyways, about all this newbie BS. Stop playing around like that, Bozco. Even though making fun of newbies is highly entertaining, they are humans, too, I think.

They all might start a revolt and beat all us "veterans", or something like that. Anyways I\'m talking nonsense, do whatever....

I dunno, I kinda agree with Bozco. I think we all pretty much a mutual respect for each other here because of the time we\'ve spent on the boards. There\'s history, there\'s friendship.. so little things are overlooked because of the respect given to that member.

Newbs are just newbs. A thousand names, one voice. If you want to get respect, then you have to prove that you are worthy of that respect by your actions over a period of time. Posting intelligent and unbiased will get you farther faster, but you can\'t expect to just walk on in here and exect to be given the same kinda clout as someone who\'s been here over a year and knows everyone well.

So in closing, shut up noobie. Quit your whining. :p

This man speaks the truth^^^^^^^, but now let me cry for losing the respect of two newbs:crying:

A person looks down on you for two seconds and you put him on the "Ignore" list, your going to be listening to about two people by the end of this week, you need to relise that just because we said one thing doesn\'t mean were now not even worth listening to, oh and now I\'m some egomaniac that probably won\'t have anything good to say just because of this, once again you flaunt your ignorance to everyone
