Am I the only person who likes this game ?? The only negative is that there is no World Cup mode ... only qualifying for it, which is pretty damn stupid. The gameplay, however, is fantastic. Other than NBA 2k2, this is my favorite sports game, and I don\'t even like soccer.

Anybody else like it ?? BTW, I saw people mention the import soccer game ... what is the difference between it and Fifa ??

i used to love fifa games, untill i played fifa 2001 on ps2, that just suckrd in my opionion, you should try pro evoulution my konami, its a much better game believe me, its not so pick up and play, but after a few games, its amazing, it a lot more realier than fifa, which is very arcadey!!!

I agree with Kopking entirely - give PES time, and you will find the most rewarding game of soccer on any format.

Deep, rewarding, tactical.....No.1

Well as you should know from my nickname, I\'m a huge fan of the whole series, but PES is better even though Fifa 2002 is still a top title.
The reason being that there is no World Cup mode, only qualifying is because soon, EA Sports are releasing Fifa World Cup 2002 which lets you win the trophy and so on...
It looks just like F2002 but i\'m still getting it...
as for Fifa 2002 the power bars shouldn\'t have been included as when you tried to power up an accurate shot outside the area, you always got tackled cause it took too long or it would sky over the bar or go straight into the keepers arms...
The passing system was good but for the power bar again, but the gameplay was really good even if it was still too easy even on World Class.
This Is Football 2002 is another title that you should definetly get as it is harder than Fifa Football 2002.

yeah my mate has got this is footbal, and he says its very good, but not as good as pro evo!!!

I\'m told often that Pro Evolution Soccer is better but I\'m happy with Fifa 2002...

Pro Evo Soccer = Best football sim ever!
Fifa 2002 = Average arcade style football game

Fifa 2002 sucks so much in my opinion when I played it I couldn\'t beleive how **** it was, I thank god I bought Pro Evo its the only game a " real " football fan needs if you like releasm and amazing gameplay than buy pro evo, if you like games that are un realistic with **** gameplay but with slightly better gfx go for fifa 2002, also in my opinion fifa 2001 was better than fifa 2002
