Title: I want STATE OF EMERGENCY, it looks cool...
Post by: FifaSeriesFan on January 17, 2002, 06:44:44 AM: After seeing a DVD clip last year of this game, I thought nothing of it, but I was speaking to a pal, who manages one of the Game Ltd stores in the UK and he was telling me about this game from
Rockstar (the creators of Grand Theft Auto 3) called State Of Emergency which does actually look awesome!
Not as good as last years beauty GTA3 but it looks like GTA3 completely on foot and I want it when it\'s released on 8th Feb...
anybody else after it? cause I\'d love to hear more about it as it looks like it may well be a succeslful game!

Post by: kopking on January 17, 2002, 10:56:07 AM: when i first saw dvd footage, about 5 months ago, it look good, not great, but seeing the footage on the new psw mag, my jaw dropped, it looks amazing, very fuild....i dunno if ill buy it, it meant to get a bit repetive.....saying that ill probaberly believe all the hype and get the damn game!!

Not really. You can tell the basis of it is a 3D Streets of Rage 2 on a bigger scale.

I\'d say you have to go out of your way to find a non-violent game but Grand Theft Auto III and I assume now State of Emergency have raised the bar on how violent they can get... ;)
