Title: What do u think is the best vocalist ?

So, what is your favourite vocalist ?

I would say Bruce ****inson (Iron Maiden) and Mike Patton (Faith no More). Maybe Paul DiAnno as 3rd :)

Kate Pierson of the B-52\'s has an awesome voice in my opinion.

Marie Fredriksson of Roxette is equally awesome. And yes, I admit, I love Roxette and always will.

Has anyone seen Mulholland Drive? Rebekah Del Rio\'s "Llorando" was incredible.

I like a lot of songs by male vocalists, like Dave Mathews, but do they really have great voices? I dunno... Chris Isaac has a nice voice.

Chris Cornell and Soundgarden are in a different league to Rage, i think its a tragedy and i wouldnt want someone like him with rage

and im not sure how good he is at rap metal..

Im sorry but screaming is not the quality of a good vocalist. ANYONE can scream and sound alright.

Im not saying it is. He can sing damn good also... I just thought Id throw in the scream because its unbelievable. No one I have ever heard can scream like Tom Araya.

I dont consider this true... some people scream horribly and cant even do that right.. much less sing. Im not starting an argument... just stating not everyone has the talent to sing.. and good hard long screaming also takes talent. :burn: :)

I like his voice. Fred Durst does suck. But Staind isn\'t that bad.

Linkin Park rules man and they\'re my favorito band as of now. (I\'m gonna see them in concert in Feb.). But Chester isn\'t a great vocalist. He\'s good. But that\'s when he\'s on the album. I\'ve heard him live, he\'s nothing too special. But Linkin Park rules and I love em\' to death.

Well Rage\'s old lead singer gave it that kind of feel, whos to say that Rage\'s new sound won\'t sound a lot better with Chris Cornell

Also in the male catagory, I put my vote to the coolest entertainer of all time, Mr.Tony Bennet.

Awwww, I didn\'t mention my R&B taste because I didn\'t know if anybody here listened to that kind of music, yeah Usher and Aaliyah are good, my fav though is Ginuwine. Tank,KC&JoJo, and R Kelly are all real good also

Oh and to add to my rock list, Lajon from Sevendust, he\'s amazing in Angel\'s Son
