Title: Royal Rumble stuff up??

well, i guess this is the rumble thread.. if im wrong about the stuff up, feel free to just discuss the Rumble in general

watched the Royal Rumble...great PPV, great wrestling for most of it...Stacy looked hawt trish wasnt bad either...the street fight was great entertainment, title match was as good as they get, the rumble itself was awesome (and we were laughing quite hard at Mr. Perfects uncanny knack of staying in, even after Stone Cold) and the Angle vs. HHH finally was suuupeeerrrb (my two fav. wrestlers) but we couldnt help but wonder one thing..

bah, i just realised im stupid...i was wondering if Taker was meant to be eliminated..cos it seemed kinda odd afterwards....but...nawww, im wrong...discuss da rumble if you want :D

has anyone heard that Undertaker was way pissed that Maven blew the spot and eliminated him? i\'ve heard rumors that UT quit, but then again they\'re just rumors.

It doesn\'t matter that he got eliminated though, Triple H would have won anyway. Maybe he just doesn\'t wanna be eliminated by some sucky guy like Maven. muahaha

Good PPV BTW...I wa still hoping that Nash would come out as KAne......that would have been somehting to see......maybe eliminate everyone but HHH then eliminate himself and unmask and it is nash.......and then they both clelibrate and then the NWO Music hits!

And Maven did get thrown out, the Taker did it. He was eliminated at the time, but that happens. Hogan did it to Sid to make Flair the winner one year, and that football player pulled out Big John Studd in the WM2 battle royal, so you don\'t have to be legal to do that.

Did anyone catch Austin throwing people back in and eliminating them again? That was funny.

I was so pissed when RVD got thrown out. After him I wanted Mr. Perfect to win - or at least make the final two. Oh well!

That was a fun PPV.

Jim Ross on WWF.com said that Goldust and Mr. Perfect are for sure making comebacks.. And tonight the Godfather and Val Venis were both there! Cool. :cool:

But it might work if the bookers script it right. I would love to see Nash as Diesel, and Hall as Razor Ramon, if only x-pac would come back as the 1,2,3 kid. (however i imagine i would quickly tire of 1,2,3 kid angle)

Hennig was never "Mr. Perfect" in WCW..
Rhodes was never "Goldust" in WCW..

As for Hogan, Nash, and Hall back.. Those aren\'t for sure yet. I really can\'t see Hogan coming back.. Nash and Hall have a chance, but it\'s a long shot.

But then again, anything can happen in the WWF right? :)

Vince dominated early getting Flair to bleed, but Flair came back to return the favor and even get his daughter to take a picture of him.... biting McMahon\'s bloody forehead. Dirtiest player in the game, indeed.

So he finally slapped on the figure-four and actually got a clean tap-out victory.

Flair is in better shape than recently, but he\'s still kind of flabby, especially standing next to the steroid abusing McMahon.

Other than that, the only downfall was when Flair went for the somersault in the turnbuckle where he flips over and lands on the apron. He couldn\'t finish the flip all the way over. To be fair, he never could get it 100% of the time, anyway...

Oh and he waffled McMahon in the face with the lead pipe at one point. Pretty vicious looking.

Post by: Heat on January 23, 2002, 12:02:57 PM: I thought the rumble was great I was watching live at 1am - 4am and I loved it, the rumble was a great and yes taker was supposed to go out coz there was the whole thing after and Im so glad HhH throw out Angle coz the guy sucks and I would hate to see Y2J vs Angle at wrestle mania. HhH will win at wrestle mania, that will rule. Oh and yes my personal favourite Stacy Keibler looked as hot as ever * Prays for here to do playboy * come on pray with me.
