Is it any good, the reviews says its the best soccer game evar. Is it?
Can someone please give their thoughts about the game.

Yeah it\'s absolutely superb, trust me, I\'ve had it since November and it\'s still addictive...
Multiplayer it\'s fantastic and winning all the trophies is quite a challenge on the harder difficulties, as is the Master League but when you play this game, nothing comes close...
It\'s easy to get used to which is useful and it feels and plays like the real thing...
Have u played ISS Pro Evolution Soccer 1&2 on the PSone?
If so then this is more realistic, a bit harder and the whole TV presentation before a game, and the graphics make this game a game you MUST own!
The gameplay is very good and like in real life you have to time your tackles to perfection (unlike in Fifa) and as you get better at the game, when you crank up the difficulty it is a lot better than playing it on 1 star as the oppostion respond better giving you a challenge and you really get the best out of your players...
so finally get this game and trust me you\'ll love it!

Yes, it is by far the best football game ever, unlike the ****ty fifa series its based on realism. If you love football and have a good understanding of football then this is the game for you, but this is a challenge it is not easy like fifa if you like to score from everywhere and your used to the long ball shoot teqnique it may take you some time to adjust.

I brought it about 2 weeks back...have to say it\'s a blast...
Great for 2-player games, and the master league is very good for single play...
The actual gameplay, well, a lot of the time you do lose the ball while the controls sort themselfs out, it\'s like the earlier versions on the PSOne... you know, you press kick, and 2 secs later it kicks :O)
Anyway, it is without doubt a fantastic game, great visuals, not amazing visuals, but good enough. :O) Music is good, but commentary sucks as ever, so, let me to get the damn point here lol THE GAME ROCKS!:O) If ya loved the PSOne versions, ya love this baby yeahhhhhhhhhhh

If you like football games, you must get PES.

yeah this game rocks, i disagree with sirkevy, when you press pass it passes straight away, the only reason it doesnt is becouse it like real foot ball, as in when you are sprinting with the ball you knock it ahed, run on to the ball , knock it ahead again, so sometimes when you press shoot, your not near the ball, so you cant shoot, untill you caught up with it, unlike fifa where it sticks to your feet, alsoo it make you think about your speed and how to sprint into the box more.
the voice acting is bad, but the actual games rocks, need some better commintators, some of the teams are not the right name asin arsenal is london, but dont let this put you off this game rocks in where it matters the most, gameplay

Yeah, but your a Liverpool fan, what doy uo know :O) Haaahaaa, only joking man ;O) OK, I agree, but I still think them controls need a little fine tuning when it comes to response time. :O)

what rating are you on???? i started on 3 stars, and found it hard first season i finished second from bottom,( about 4 wins, the rest draws) the next i finished first, in the 1st div now, first at the mo, but its hard.
my advice is buy strikers first, you need the quality up front the most as you dont get many chances compared to fifa

Thanks all. i bought it yesterdat and this is by far the best soccer game I have ever played. We played 2 persons last night against the CPU, damn this game is so real.

yeah glad you like it, it really rocks, if you go into practice, when plaing press start, there should be all things listed, in one it can show you all the buttons etc, you should try it, as they dont say about them in the manual!!!

Im playing master season on 2 stars but Im about 12 points ahead and beating most opponents very easily. So far I have bought Ronaldo, Zidane, Batistuta and Veron. I chose Batistuta instead of Ruud Van Nistleroy. Once Iv\'e completed the season Ill go onto 3 or 4.

well its konami, they dont need to hype this game up, as its soooo good, but also i think its becouse it took so long to change from jap ( winning 11 five) to pal. i dont think you heard about it here, as most people are from usa, and football isnt that big out there, even though some have learnt, and love footy

Yeah, I noticed that, the best one from that menu is the crossing help...as It really allows you to score more fantastic looking goals, like diving headers etc... There are 3 types of crosses, and yet it doesn\'t tell you in the manual, like you said...:)
