Post by: Super San on February 01, 2002, 09:18:04 PM
What was the worse thing that ever happened to you.  Me is when my good dog died.  He was the best hunting dog i ever knew.  He would fetch and could hear things a mile away it was a horrible thing when I lost her.:(

The worst thing is coming home from school to a stiff dog who hung himself with his own leash... And how you could see all the scratch marks in the dirt of him trying to save himself.

Poor Buddy. He was real big on chasing rabbits, so we think one day he decided to jump the fence when he was chained up and the chain could barely reach over the fence, he jumped it and strangled....

This ain\'t the worst thing to happen to me, but since this thread seems to gravitate to animals I\'ll stick with the theme. I had this cat named Fluffy when I was like 10 years old. She was a mange ridden stray that immedeately came up to me and lached on. (With every one of her claws, which she still ocassionally did long after she\'d gotten used to me :p )

Anyhow, I had her for like 4 years and she was my favorite out of all the cats we had. She always stayed at the house, always had to go where I was.. I mean she\'d even climb a tree to get to the roof of the house and peek in my windows. It was like she was helpless without me around. She would even wait for me at the end of the driveway when I got home.

One day I noticed she wasn\'t there.. and she wasn\'t at the house. Well I went looking for her, and found her along side the road about a 50 feet from my house. The top half of her anyhow. Some jackass had swerved off the road and hit her with enough force to rip her in half. I grabbed a shovel, tracked down her rear end and all the innards I could find and burried her right at the end of the driveway where she always waited for me. :(  That sucked... expecially since someone went out of their way to kill her.

That was so sad SonyFan. We got our cat as a stray and we took him in. He\'s still with us but he\'s been a pain in the ass. He always has to be on someone. I don\'t mind when I\'m in the mood though which I\'m usually never in the mood to have a cat on me.

One of the saddest days was when my parakeet died. I always took him out of the cage and played with him. We were off school because of a bigass storm and I had him out one day and he didn\'t look too well. He actually never looked too well. I always thought that he was sick but my mom kept saying that he was alright. Well, that night I had him out. I did notice before I took him out that he was still, infront of the food dish and didn\'t even move. Well, I was holding him and he died right in my hands. I was crying for a while. We actually only owned him for a month to a month and a half. But this is only the tip of the iceberg. I have another parakeet and he was extrememly depressed. He\'s still alive but he would be dead too if we didn\'t get a new bird. It is really a day that I would like to forget. Too painful. I never had anything die in my hands before and that bothered me for a long time. I never experienced something die right infront of me. What made things worse is that my mom kept trying to blame it on me. When our rabbit died, she blamed it on my brother. Don\'t ask why. It doesn\'t make sense to me either.

Well, My story goes way back, to when I was a wee little one, running around and making a friggin\' fool out of myself. Back when my parents decided to unleash holy heck on my sister and I by getting us a parakeet. At first it sucked, but I began to grow fond of the little guy. As time went on he and I grew very fond of eachother. He even could say things like "kiss off you freak", and "you suck" (I have no idea where he learned that from).

One day, as we were out in the front yard at my parents house, the cage, in the back yard fell over and he got away...I mean , he got out. The poor little thing was on his own. A day or so later, my sister was out in the back yard on a cold, rainy day, calling for him. To our surprise, he landed right on her head...he had come home...the prodical parakeet had comee home! however, about a week later my sister and I came home only to find our parakeet lying at the bottom of his cage in a pool of his own mucus! SICK!!!

Well, anyway....that\'s my story. And that is why I am the man I am today!
