So what they\'re saying is that they would like PS3 to be a console in which you download games from the internet? And it will do my laundry? Wow!
I say let\'s hold off on serious PS3 talk until 2004. Up \'til then it will all be speculation. Which is good in its own light, but speculation none-the-less. We wouldn\'t want to get our hopes up, eh?

I think PS3 will be powerful, very powerful, and internet will play a very important role in its life.. but I don\'t think occidentals can play till at least early 2006.

Is it just me or is there a console out called the Playstation 2 which you seem to be forgetting about?

It\'s like I\'ve heard countless rumors on the Net about Metal Gear Solid 3 and thats bull at the moment as Konami haven\'t even started writing Snakes 3rd sony adventure!
anyway back to the subject, he\'s Japanese and obviously wet his pants after seeing the sales of the PS2 and feels the need to rush out and start getting hopes up with news of the PS3!
I\'m happy with my PS2 and I\'m in no rush not to get worked up bout 3...

Sounds like it passed through Japanese to English translation software that still has quite a few kinks left to be worked out.

I think what Mr.Kataragi is saying is the PS3 will be a nothing more than a small microchip that sony corp. will place directly in our brains with a broadband link directly to seca servers.
