At a recent Sega festival held in Tokyo producer Yu Suzuki announced plans to expand the Virtua Fighter series with a possible \'Virtua Fighter 5\'. Although nothing is yet concrete, Yu Suzuki said they are still looking into the possibility of a sequel to their latest PS2 fighter. Suzuki-san also revealed that a new weapon-based arcade fighter might also hit the production line.
With the interview out of the way it was on with the fighting festival, arcade fighting that is. More than sixty players from across the country scrambled into the venue to compete in an arcade tournament. The champions of the event were awarded PlayStation 2 packages and copies of Virtua Fighter 4 (not bad for a single days work).
For reference: 600,000 copies of Virtua Fighter 4 have been shipped to retailers in Japan.

Virtua Fighter was always planned to be a 5 part series...don\'t expect it any time soon. You\'re probably looking at 3 years minimum wait.
OMG, Last Bronx 2 would be the ****...
