What\'s the best shooting game that\'s out on ps2 right now?

shooting games as in mega wing, raiden, 1942(?) ...etc


something that\'s fun but NOT impossible to finish without using unlimited continues.

The best, and only true shooting game has to be:

Duck Hunt

It can never get any better than that.

i think there is a new time crisis out, but i have to say none of them can compete with duck hunt, i played that game for hours and hours, trying to shoot that damn dog when he retrieved the ducks.  good times, good times.....

i\'m talking about plane-shooting games, ones that evolved from space invaders...

Modern consoles don\'t make overhead plane shooting games, like 1942, or R-type (best of all time :D).  Ace combat is a air combat simulator, but for those older side or overhead scrolling shootem-games, you are either going to have to buy those older games for your older consoles, or if you don\'t have the consoles, just buy the games, so you can legally emulate the game on your computer.  I wouldn\'t expect any \'2D scrolling\' games to make it to this generation of consoles, however.

1942. . . so awesome.

Go to http://www.download.com and search for imitation 1942\'s and Galagas.

I got Bugatron, it\'s not Galaga, but it\'s close enough.
