I can\'t seem to be able to watch any of my dvds or rented dvds in widescreen. I don\'t know why! I have tried to mess around in the system configeration and change the sreen from 4:3/full/etc and none of them change the dvd setting. Its really getting on my nerves when i am trying to watch something like the matrix and neo looks like a bloody giraff!
Any way im looking for help. Oh yea don\'t say read the manual because i dont have it:mad:

Try changing the DVD screen settings, and not the sys config settings. ;)
-
how do i do that?
sorry not very good with this electronics stuff:rolleyes:

Solution: You have to stop the film before you can change this setting.
-
i guess what im saying is \'where\'/ \'how/ \'what\' settings do i change etc.
I dont know what you talking about when you say stop the dvd and then change the settings. What settings?

puh... OK, here we go:
Put in a DVD, then start it by pushing reset (the green/red button on your PS2) or click on the DVD simbol at the PS2s Browser.
The DVD will start... now playback the movie... if it runs, press the stop button on your joypad (was it square...? To lazy to test right now). Then highlight the menue by pressing SELECT !!!
Now you´ll see a menue - highlight the screensettings and change it from 4/3 to 16/9... push select again and then play...
If that doesn´t help... READ THE DAMN MANUAL... :clown: ;)
(If you want to buy a new manual, then contact SONY... they´ll help !)
