Ahhh, good news for you! I just got off the phone with a rep. at the company and he said that they are new consoles, not recon\'s.

The price is right man!:)

Yeah but you\'ve failed to realise that in the UK, shops are selling PS2s for £199 so if you can beat that then I\'ll eat my own PC...
But by the sound of things you live in the US so u can\'t have done...but anyway, I got mine for £199 so they must be cheap all over the place now...

WTF?  Today I was in the Fry\'s store in Woodland Hills, CA, and they had a huge stack of PS2\'s with a sign on the top.  "$299.00 - Special Sale, good through 2/17/02!!!"  Damn bloodsuckers.  It\'s probably only good through 2/17/02 because after that the price will be $269.00!  I hate Fry\'s.
