Yup. Finally made it. I am now a Wise Member. I\'ve been waiting a long time for this. I remember I posted that I will write a mini speech here. Well here it is.
I registered at the end of July. I was a naive newbie and didn\'t know the ropes. I really didn\'t know then what a forum was and I registered to see what it was all about. I was really hesitant about posting my first post. My hands were shaking while I hovered the mouse over the \'Post Reply\' button. I kind of wonder what was the first post I ever posted was. Well, after that one post, I was not nervous anymore. I posted a lot because it was summer, I didn\'t have a job and had nothing to do some of the day.
I made many friends here. You all know who you are. I then got some of your screen names and I keep in frequent contact. Actually, I\'m talking to two members as I\'m writing this.
A couple months later, I joined the Spaminators and had some fun. We always faught with Vapors Southern Alliance. I think we won ;) . Then the Spaminators were forced to break up along with the Southern Alliance and Fishpie\'s Spammer Syndicate (which he got banned soon after. Praise the person who banned him).
Not much really happened after that.
The forums went downhill since. We got back some of our old members and the status started to rise again but not much.
Well, I have an avatar lined up, I just have to make it smaller (thanks to mm ;) ) You\'ll see it up in a couple weeks. Its from the Swedish Rally. Its Tommi Makinen\'s Subaru (I\'m really into Rally\'s right now).

Good job there. so what does semper fi mean? i know it is latin and a military motto. that is about it.

Yeah, I\'d have well over 1400 posts too, IF IT WASN\'T FOR SOME WEIRD [dirty word] THAT WENT ON A WHILE AGO... oh where have all the posts gone... :( Bah, who cares :p

I can\'t change my avatar. It says that my abilities are disabled. Oh and about Semper Fi. I heard it in MGS2, saw it on signs and stuff and thought it was cool. I have no intentions of changing it.

congrats man, ive only just gone through the barrier of 1900, gonna try to get up to 2000 b4 march, that way ive done 2000 thousand in a year of being at this great forum

Its a big milestone for a member. Pretty much everyone is excited when they get 1400, 2000, 2500, 3000 and on.

youll be surprised, this place gets so addicted........if you do like 5 a day , it makes 1800, its quite easy as this place is sooo cool, also when a new game comes out the post really go up( well they domore if they come out in uk and usa near each other, otherwise the americans have said it all b4 we get to play it, and i try not to read them, incase they have spoiler, i only read about 2 posts in mgs2)

I only registered at the end of July. I made 1400 in about 6 months.

Before the older members (Vid, Jar\'O Pickles, Luke) left, my post average was like 6 posts a day. After they left, it went down to 4 posts a day. There were days that I didn\'t even bother. Then when tehy came back, it shot up to over 7 a day.

heh i remember when there were days i would post 20 a day easy - i would do that for a week or so and then not post for a long time
summer killed my posts also - school and work boost em though since im around pcs and bored mostly
i still remember when i posted 900 posts in a month and like no one noticed since i didnt spam - heh TOBG and Solid Snake got warned about posting though - it was great

I joined nearly a year ago, but went through mass periods of not posting, but now i\'ve done 80 in like a week!! Its so easy to do when u get hooked!! I should be upto 500 in april i reckon

I\'ve been posting only at work since I joined. My DSL gets hooked up on my new comp at home on 2/25. Then you\'re all f*cked.
