The network icon on my desktop, you cant delete and ive tried disconnecting it but It wont go.

yer stuck with it, UNLESS you want to install powertoys

search microsoft.com for it

I\'m still on Win98, so this may not even help.  Go into Network properties.  Remove Client for Microsoft Networks.  It\'ll tell you your network isn\'t complete.  Click OK.  Should be gone.

if you have windows xp just goto control panel-display-desktop-customize desktop-then take the checkmark out of my network
if you dont have xp then you screwed
