Is there a place where we can go and actually try one of these bad boys out?

Yea they do sound pretty cool.
The next step for something like this is that you must look differnent directions and angles to see things. I\'m just thinking of something like Silent Hill3 being like that. I mean wouldn\'t that be the ultimate experience?

Those were already out in Japan when I was there last year in june.

I haven\'t tried any, but this store there had them but the PS2 wasn\'t on so you couldn\'t see anything.

The next step for the PS3 should be dual image output where the PS3 outputs 2 seperate screens (one for each eye)
Two camera angles for 3-D gaming.  It shouldn\'t be too hard to do. Just use parallel in-game cameras and each one is for a side of the glasses.

Anyone else agree???

I\'ll be surprised if the next gen consoles don\'t start supporting stereographic presentation, just like you want juslight.  They should have more than enough power to render two images at a time, and it would truly be an easy way to make games unbelievable.  Really well done stereographic 3D stuff just rox yer sox off.  (https://psx5central.com/community/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.plauder-smilies.de%2Fsad%2Fsmhair1.gif&hash=1b376c2b0c40ead802aa3f95abfc004dd5d1141f)

Entry glasses are 399 (USD), and the top of the line ones are 1199 (USD).  I think I\'ll wait a year or two, I\'m sure the price of these will come down a lot (a simmilar technology that I purchased two years ago for lucid dreaming is now about 33% of what I paid back then).  It sure would be nice though, you could play games without disturbing people, watch movies, and if u have a laptop, well, that would give you privacy, and the ability to play just about anything anywhere.

Maybe I\'ll invest some into this company, I\'ll have to do some more reasearch on where they want to take this technology. (https://psx5central.com/community/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.plauder-smilies.de%2Fhappy%2Fxyxthumbs.gif&hash=3079a7adc98553251e59e816618ca8477be38284)

Personally, I think these things would give you headaches. I mean, having an image half an inch away from your eyes. I think that would cause eye problems if used for longer then 15 mins. I mean, how does your eye even focus that close?

I have tested out these Eye-Trek glasses and it uses some sort of prysms to push the image back (Kind of like the way arcade games use mirrors to fake distance between the player and the screen.)

It really DOES feel like you\'re watching a Huge TV at a distance.  The cool thing is that when the camera pans in a movie you sorta turn your head with it and it feels like you are actualy looking that direction!!!  Cool stuff.
