Title: The Sims. . . vacation?
Post by: Troglodyte on February 13, 2002, 09:01:19 PM
WTF?  The Sims, master of the add-on packs!

Now there has been an announcement for The Sims Vacation.  It works just like Sim Date, \'cept you build a place for family fun!

Is it just me. . . or is this too much?  I\'m sick and tiered of add-on packs.  Can\'t they just make a new sims game?  You know, make a better update of the fundamentals and then go from there?

I say on with the add-ons and milk the franchise to death.

Excessive? Milking the series? Yes. However, unlike some expansion packs, I find the Sims add-ons to be worth it. Despite the fact that there are now 4 or them. Even after buying the game 2/3 years ago, I\'m still playing it (when I get home from college) after all this time and doesn\'t get boring thanks to those add-ons.

I think this is actually a good milking of a product for once.
