I\'m looking forward to this FPS title. I had the original TimeSplitters, but sold it due to its horrible single player mode. I\'m a huge Goldeneye fan, and the fact that some of the Goldeneye team worked on TimeSplitters 2 pretty much has me sold. Unfortunatly I couldn\'t get my hands on a demo disk, but I\'ve downloaded several movies. For those who\'ve played it, or anyone that can answer...
A) How Close is it Bond?
B) Is the Gameplay better?
C) How different is it from the original?
So far it\'s a definite purchase for me, so anyone know the exact date in March? Thanks in advance.

A. From the demo disk it is Waaaay above Bond!
B. it is very bond\'ish but the AI is very smart......
C. BETTER graphics and better story-line...enough said.
According to Gamestop (Software ETC) the eta is 9/16/02...I reallly doubt it will be that long. for us here in the US.

Yes the Demo was decent in that it leaves no doubt that TS2 will be much better then the already appreciated TS1
If they squeeze Online into the game then TS2 will be the FPS to match on consoles for awhile
and I cannot wait to screw around with the new mapmaker

Get it mate, even though single player isn\'t all that.
by playing through story and challange you open up more bots , player charaters, maps etc to be used in mulitplayer.
Also some of the challanges are superb.

OK mate.... Ill try and pick up a cheap copy on ebay then.... Ive been wanting to buy another FPS for a while anyway after completing Half-life and Red Faction

Timesplitters 4 player was the most fun i\'ve ever had multiplayer!! Bearin in mind i never had an N64
I just cannot wait for TS2, especially if its gonna be online too
-
it\'ll be hard for it to beat bond in the multi-player fun factor, i remember 6-8 hour marathon of playing 2 on 2, and laughing so hard that i almost wet myself.
Inner Voice: What do u mean almost?
-
yeah its meant to be have a better story and one player mode, and of course better graphics, new games modes etc.
i cant wait i loved the first one
-
well Ive only just picked up the first one (had avoided because reviews slated the single player mode) and I have to say Im totally loving it..... I think all the stats it gives you is a nice little touch aswell... so far Ive only been playing one night and Ive already fired 18000 rounds.... LOL
I much prefer this as a single player game than Quake III... will need to wait till the weekend before I can sample multiplayer side of things

Timesplitters 2 is my " most wanted " game of the year, Ill be picking up TS1 sinse Ill be able to get it for £18.99 soon.

I\'ve just been on GameSpot and watched the movies n looked at the pics, and read about it and OMG - I cannot wait another 5 months for this!!

I see your in the Uk , Its a shame you didnt get PSWorld #14 that had a good bit of in game footage and a few cut scenes from the game all in DVD quality. Thats when I got into TS2 and started reading all about it.
