I\'m just sitting back waiting for an Australian to win a medal. You cats think it will happen?
Too bad they don\'t have a naked shower wrestling event. Maybe the summer games one day....

Well there\'s still quite some time for them to win...but as always nothing lasts forever.

Now that I look at it it could be a race between the US and Germany.
-
well, besides the now defunct Jackie Cooper...did anyone expect us to win a medal?
you just used this thread as a way to make another Racer joke didnt you!?! DIDNT YOU!?!
-
they just got gold in short track, thanks to every1 falling down, including apollo, who should have won if he hadn\'t been drug down.
-
Yeah, that dumb little Korean pointdexter-looking guy didn\'t have to put his right arm out and drag Apolo down like that. Why did the Korean fall down anyway? I didn\'t see anyone push him down.
I guess you Aussies can feel proud now, you\'ve won your gold metal by other\'s misfortune.
-
Gezz, some people are sore losers huh!!.
-
Ha ha ha. That was the biggest fluke in Olypic history! The only reason the Aussie even made it to the finals is because 3 people fell down right before the finish line in the semi final race. Then the only reason he won the finals is because he was a quarter lap behind everyone else! Without a doubt that should have been a re-race. :( Oh well though. Apolo can still dominate in the next three races (and you know he will! :D)

strange.. 2 chicks just quilified for a ski jumping event.. guess what, They are aussies.. Someone call Fox and scully, We have a X-file here. ;)
But really, We don\'t really get much snow here.. Just lots of swimming pools and surfing beaches, and skate parks, OH so that\'s why we swim, Skate and surf so well. :D

Yeah Videohoic, eat your own words you little freak. We just won a friggen GOLD medal so suck it pal.
-
The funny part was when he held up his hands when he passed the finish line and everyone booed. :)
-
cause he didnt deserve it
he was in last place, when the korean got mad cause he was losing and took out the whole pack
he should be ashamed
-
Those shifty goddamn koreans! ;)
-
the US had Gold locked up but nooooooo the Korean decided if he cant win noone can......dirty pool I say! atleast we got silver......beats 4th place and no medal I guess.....
:hat:ScottyJ:hat:

Well, it\'s one thing that Apollo and everybody else fell down, but the fact that the Aussie acted like he was great after he crossed the finish line pissed me off. He shouldn\'t have had a chance in hell during qualifying, and yet somehow he wins gold. The tainted Olympic Triumph, bleh.
Apollo still got silver, and he\'s probably going to medal in his last 3 events, so this isn\'t like the end of this guy\'s Olympic try. He\'ll win one gold at least, so Silver is just fine.
See Yuz.

In the interview with Apollo after the race, he was extremely happy that he had won a silver. I was actually pretty surprised. I thought he would either be in tears or loading his gun getting ready to take some people out. ;) Heh.
-
Heh, yeah, I saw that. At least he wasn\'t pulling another Sale/Pelettier afterwards for the IOC to deal with yet again. He\'ll be back, and 3 golds are pretty damn good, too :)
See Yuz.

OMG, you are telling ME to SUCK IT???? WTF is that all about...???
Your speed skater came in LAST PLACE in TWO RACES.
Through disqualifications and last lap wrecks, your dude was handed a gold medal.
YOU KNOW WHY HE WON GOLD????
He was so far in last place that the wreck that whiped out all 4 of the other racers didn\'t even effect him.
And he is the first gold medalist for Australia. hehehehe.
