Title: Soda or Pop?

in reality in Cali we call it soda, pop just sounds so 1950\'s to me, i mean when they say pop i expect people to say "let\'s all go down to the malt shop."

But I never used the word pop. It just sounds wierd. When I hear the word pop, I think of pop stars like Britney Speared or NStink.

Here in Utah, everyone calls it pop. But I call it Soda because I like the attention that I get when I say a word that isn\'t used very often here. :)

Hmmm. I didn\'t know that they had Soda/Pop back in the 1800s when the pioneers settled in Utah. ;) And actually, the people started to come from New York, so there goes that "midwest" theory. :)
