I\'ve been at the hospital all day. I got my broken leg operated on around 10\' and after waking up I was to congested for them to let me go home. The anestisha screwed me up and have thrown up 8 times since getting home. Everytime I eat, it would rather come up instead of go down. Im taking 4 or 5 pills at a time and it just makes me feel even funnier. I cant wait to get back on my feet. Anyone else that has had surgery felt like this afterwards?

Oh thats nothing...well it does have to suck! I had surgery many times in my life. The worst was my stomach operation, they would make me inhale this flavored sleeping gas that would make me throw up like hell when i would wake up! Then when i knocked out they would stick this tube down my throat and into my esophagus and take pics of my stomach. That wasnt really a surgery but i experienced many of the S****y after effects that you described!:)

Oh, that sounds chity. Whats worse than anything to me right now, is when I take a piss I have to go bad every five minutes and when I do go it\'s hard to get it all to just flow out.

I\'ve never had surgery, so go me :) Extensive dental work though, that is painful. I don\'t recommend getting your front teeth smashed into your lip :(

That reminds me when I was around 12 or 13. I was chasing after a friend just goofing off and ran right into him. A part on my braces went right through my lip but my dad just yanked it out, didn\'t feel good though.

I was playing hockey, and I got high sticked. About 2/3 of my front teeth ended up somewhere in my upper lip. Also doesn\'t feel too good. Anytime you have evposed nerves hanging down into your mouth, it\'s not a good thing.

oooh, that sounds bad. Another time I "accidentally" got hit right above the temple w/someones golf driver. That caused for a few stiches but what Im going through right now is problly the worse. What happened to me would be like something u see one of them dumbasses do on Real T.V.

Being put to sleep and having your guts torn out & played with by a bunch of doctors who are on the tail end of a 38 hour shift is the least of your worries in the hospital. One word...
CATHIDER. *Shivers* That should be what we use to tourture those bastards in Afghanistan with... "See this long, sharp, rough, and thick plastic tube? We\'re gonna shove it up your who-hah about a foot & half. Then we\'ll rip it out and make you take a piss. Now dosen\'t that sound like fun!"

Damn Sony Fan, did you have to remind me of the one I got? argh! Last time I was in the hospital I couldn\'t move or anything to pee in a cup so some chic just pulled my pants down and gave me a catherder, man it hurts.

Those are all pretty bad guys. The worse I\'ve had is a couple of stitches on my head and some in my mouth. :nerd:
I could have been killed a number of times, but I escaped all of them cleverly. :D

heheheh..you two? I cant count the number of times I should have been dead by now. Fortunatly, I\'ve never had surgery, anything nasty that has happend to me was usually easily taken care of at home. Had to go to a hospital for a few things..but no *real* surgery.

Surgery sucks! Especially when it’s for your wisdom teeth. I had 5 of the mother suckers taken out of my face and it hurt like chit! Not to mention it but when my wife got me home she thought it would be FUNNY to take my picture with my head all swollen up like a watermelon. I even had this strap wrapped around my head to hold the ice packs on; it made me look like Jacob Marley from The Christmas Carole. No surgery is fun, unless your nurse looks like some chick out of David Lee Roth video. Then we might be able to bare the pain.:D

Ive never had surgery but I have had a far few injuries :
Here we go . . .. Broken Toe, Broken Ankle, Sprained Ankle, Fractured Ankle ( yes my ankle sucks ) , 2 broken Fingers, loads of stiches, 3 scars on my fourhead ( pretty small ), 1 big scar on top of my head ( where I fell out of a shopping trolly when I was young, Sprained wrest, had my tooth put my lip, got hit in the face with a See - Saw ( when I was a kid my mums boyfriend got off and it hit me straight in the face, I think thats about it. Oh and I have had some extra teeth taken out.

I had a hernia operation about 6 years ago which was real painful and has left me with a decent sized scar for my trouble!
Also when I was walking home one night drunk, I had my arm extended out trying to flag down a taxi, when it was hit by a lorry and my hand broke in 2 places (no surgery required but it hurt like hell and my arm was in a pot for 6 weeks!!)

Man, now u have to sit and think about how unbearable the pain is gonna be Shockwave, that right there is worse than actually getting whats coming for u sometimes.

I\'m sure they will, or something like that. So, that should help. When I had my chipped teeth worked on, I was awake the whole time, and it didn\'t feel good. Hopefully this won\'t be as bad.

Yea, I\'ve had my teeth worked on alot. Something bout the stinch from the drill that makes me really unconfortable.

Once they get the government to approve of this new laser technique for under 200 micro meter cornea patients, I\'m going to get eye surgery. (Possibly in two years.)
And then at some point I\'m gonna have to get that syst removed. Where is it you ask? I\'m not tellin\'! :p

Dont guess I want to know from the sound of things.
Seems they have a new, safer, and less painfull way of fixing teeth, just cant remember what it was.
