For anybody who played the demo from OPS2M, and were annoyed at the Onimusha-style borders, there is the option for 60Hz in the full game, and therefore gives a lovely full-screen game.
Took a while to get into, but it\'s so fresh and unique, and far more of a stategic game than I thought it would be.

Hey Marquis, some reviews I read said that the game was boring as hell, what can you say about this?

The game does run at a sedate pace, especially for the first half hour or so, where you are introduced to the gameplay and aqquire items that will aid your quest.
Initial play is not too good - the (initial) levels feel fairly sparse, the camera can be awkward, and the real-time cut scenes have poor lip-sync with annoying accents.
However, give it time, and then you begin to appreciate the strategic elements to the game - how to lure certain creatures to traps, but in turn watch the animals that are to be herded into their pens with out them being eaten etc,. Some planning is essential on many of the levels - most levels have no time-limits so you can plan out your game, and if you screw it up, you can re-enter the level and start over again.
The loading is quite long, but if you want to restart on the same level, it is instantaneous.
A lot of the levels require sub-quests too, and can only be completed once a certain item is attained.
My only gripe is the camera angles - other than that, there are 36 levels, huge quest, a wonderful eco-system, lovely graphics, and there\'s no other game like it on the PS2.
I guess a lot of people won\'t like it, but I can\'t get enough of it!!!

Thanx for your mini-review. The game seems to be interesting at least. Many people will dislike it, but there will be people that likean original game like that. Let me play and will comment you ;)

Yeah Adan, let me know what you think of it.
You might have to give it some time, though... :)

i only played the demo and i though the graphics were not that dood, especially after the screen i had seen, a big disappointment,
i found the camera had lots of probs, it didnt run smooth. i found the areas small, and lots of loading when ever you went to a new area.
i did not like this game, i didnt like the gameplay, maybe i being harsh but it didnt really ever intrest me, but i hoped it would prove me wrong and begreat, but it hasnt, maybe the full game wont have these errors, but dont think ill buy it

Yeah, OPS2M hyped this up so much. I played the game in HMV the other day, and I thought it was terrible! The graphics looked more like something from the psone, and the control syatem and cameras seemed pretty crap too
-
The main gripe is definately the camera issues - it can be really, really poor, but HMV, or any shop, is a bad place to try it out, as you really need to sit down with this one - it starts slow, and the first couple of levels are sparse, but it just grabbed me, and 10 hours later, I can\'t get enough of it.
There\'s also been a lack of reviews on-line for the game. The only one I\'ve found so far is:

Rent it out lads, but make sure you\'re chilled and not up for a fight or anything before you play it.

They really seem to like the game giving it 4 stars
Scenery blocking items and stuff is to be expected when you have a world thats packed full of trees and stuff
as long as the camera is controllable there should be ways around it
