Doh! Never thought of that. Oh well, I\'ll open my own one day and have my own special theatare set up just for playing games.

Yeah. Since the company my dad bought our main tv from, well, Sears in the late 80\'s, it\'s somehow a 27" TV. Good Tv, though...lots of good sports moments on that thing :)
See Yuz.

at my college they have a projector with an S-video hook up, I\'m debating on swiping it.

Your poll doesn\'t go high enough, mjps! I have to be lumped in with all the losers who only have 48" televisions!
Ah well, only Vid beats me with his front projection tv. Mine is a 65" rear projection Toshiba. In hindsight, I should have saved the money for my car fund instead.

That works, but when you get to larger sizes you really need a line doubler/tripler/or quadrupler anyway. They aren\'t cheap. Or you at least need an HD receiver that does 1080i.
PS2 looks good, but I really need a line doubler on it to make it kick ass. If they would ever come out with a VGA adapter I would be set.
Racer- your dad probably has one of the same types of units I have. Mine can go up to 300 inches if I had the room. My next house is going to have it\'s own theater. Anyone want to buy my house so I can move?

Ah yes, you must have purchased yours a bit earlier than I did. Unless you have a newer model? I bought my 65H80 last year for around $2,999 and I still feel I got taken. The normal price at the time should have been about $2,600 or so, but the information I was working from was false. Oh well, I\'m satisfied and it\'s still looking great, especially after having it ISF\'d. Check ya later.
-
Heh, in my room I have 20" el cheapo Samsung, it does the job, a friend of mine just got himself a Wega for his room so I might buy something better (I can\'t let him have anything better than I have). But I don\'t really need it that much, I use my Sony G400 alot more.
And I have a 29" Philips in the living room.
-
27" Panasonic Panablack
-
32" JVC.
...paying $200 extra for 4" (36") is a rip-off...:)

That is the same model that I have. I checked the site where I bought it and it is still listed as $3499.95. Where have you seen it for $2600?.
$3500 seemed like a good deal for a 65" HDTV. The specs are at http://www.800.com/prod.asp?P=4220
