ok..white lines on the ground???
-
look at the driveways on the left also, no sense of speed
the white lines should be a frickin blur at 230 mph, not to mention they seem to be crawling along at 100 mph after slowing down
hes not going as fast as the meter says

yea.. I know..That is why I didnt post a topic simialr to "Busa at 220mph!!"
1 explanation is a change in the bikes gearing, which would have to be custom.
A second explan. would be electronics. For instance, on my car, last year, I installed a speed delimiter so I could trick the vehicles computer. The thing with the speed delimiters available for me was ...im no longer limited to 130 mph or my speedo will read double the actual speed, or the other one was where the speedo would read half of actual speed.

i see
actually, a friend of mine wanted something like that for his toyota tacoma. it would hit 97 mph and then gear down noticably. he wanted something to bypass the restrictor.
-
yea..its just the computer cutting fuel for a moment. The first time you bang off of the limiter is kinda scary though, like you just broke something :D
-
yeah, i was with him when he bought it and tested its max speed
i thought he blew a cylinder
but then we tesed it a few more times, and everytime he hit 97, BAM it would drop him down to below 90

Tacoma is a toyota correct? Tell him to look into TRD Toyota Racing Developement. Factory endorsed perfoamnce products, everything from aero-kits to suspension-super chargers..etc..
Tell him to look for a TRD computer and intake. Thier larger exhaust should help him out too.

I thought this video was faked the first time I looked at it, but now I\'m not sure. What made it look fake to me was how perfect the exposure is. Both the instrument panel and the view through the windshield are perfectly exposed, but usually in that kind of photography situation the instrument panel would be underexposed, or the road view would be blown out. I dunno now. The reflection in the gauges looks authentic, and I think the seemingly odd frequency of the white lines could be due to bad video compression. If it\'s real, it\'s kinda scary.
