Ugh, 2-1 at the end of the first period.  Great game so far though.

I got all exited when it was 2-2... then before i knew it canadia scored again...

well folks..the Canadians beat the US for the 3rd time in under 24 hours (hockey once and Short Track twice).

Bah, don\'t be so hard on the guy with the HOT! HOT! HOT! (though she\'s starting to show some age) wife.  The Canadians played some great hockey and they handed us our asses.  That was awesome... that\'s the kind of hockey I started watching hockey for in the first place.

Congrats to Canada, good stuff.

Well, Richter played good until the end there.  Really seemed to keep em in it.  I think Canada just had too much talent.  Once they came together as a team, it was all over.

And by the way, Gretzky actually doesn\'t get a medal :)
