So what happens when you die? Some might say that you turn into some spirit being that floats away to play a harp for the next eternity. Some say that you just go away for a while and come back as somebody else (or something else for that matter). What do you think? I’ll post my thoughts tomorrow if this thread gets any posts in it.;)

Exactly my beliefs...i know its sad but its what i believe in. Many christians believe this is what happens to animals, but the only difference we have from them is great intelligence..how does that give us the right to a "heaven". The only reason a "human" heaven exists is becuase we are the only animals intelligent enough to think one up. Hence, heaven only exists in our minds.
My beliefs sometimes depress me, but im not changing them just to make myself happy, the way i see it, Its not like I\'ll be around to complain after I die.

Word... Maybe I have a repressed weed smoking soul that is just waiting for me to die to break out and be free. That would kick...

Like I said, Im christian, I believe in the bible, and it says that whoever believes in Jesus, as their savior, when they die they will go to heaven and live there, kinda like in luxury, forever!

just dont get Cremated in Georgia...you might not get Cremated.............

PS2girl, U just earned a whole lot of respect from me now. Follow god and Jesus in all ways possible and there will be eternal life. Anyone who accepts Jesus Christ as thier saviour and into thier hearts will go to paradise and one day a new land will be made for us.

If that was pointed at trying to offend me for my beliefs Luke then I can understand that because u problly feel completly different about what u believe in. Im not gonna argue religion w/u because I dont like to do that. Guess I\'ll just say, lets see who has the last laugh, but that will be away\'s from now.

well then, lets try and keep our talk just based on PS2 now eh? That way we can still remain pals. I hate arguing religion because ppl believe strongly in thier religion and thiers no point in shooting down what they believe. I would honestly prefer threads of this sort get deleted because a simple thread like this can ruin the quality of a forum due to arguments.

Residue of spiritual or mental energies can leave \'ghosts\', but you aren\'t there.

Isn\'t that sick? I have a co-worker that is from that town. They\'ve found over 300 bodies, but this morning they just found another "burial ground" so the numbers are just going up from there.

I too (as established before) am a believer. I have found though that shoving a Bible down ones throat doesn’t win souls let alone make you any friends. As far as this thread turning into an argument, I believe that the guys and gals in this forum are far maturer than to get angry with one another about a personal view. If you haven\'t read through some of the past threads on such topics, I ask you to do so (I think you will appreciate them).
Well anywho, as I stated above (and most of you already know this) I am a believer. NO, I didn’t say I was perfect. Heck, I\'ll probably never be perfect. But one thing I do believe is that before you die you have a choice. Smoking or non-smoking? Get my drift, sure you do.
I don\'t believe that Hell was made for the suffering of souls though (God wishes that none should perish). I believe that Hell was made for God\'s fallen angels as well as Satan. People, by not choosing Jesus as their savior, choose eternity in hell with Satan and his horde of demons.
If you have chosen to follow Christ, then (as the thief that hung on the cross to the right of Jesus) you will see eternity in heaven.
PSX_J, this forum is one of the best around. They are open to hearing your beliefs. Not all of them will argue with you on what you think...I imagine that\'s why they call it a forum.

what do i believe in.. i dont know.. and i dont care.. either way its an eternity of something. and eternity is a very scary thought. i think i\'d rather just disappear than spend an eternity in \'heaven\'.. who knows.. but i dont know yet whether or not i want to have consciousness when i die..

I read alot of those post in that thread Video sent me to. Im a guy and usually really tough, I mean I broke my leg and joked around bout it at the time. But I wont lie, it really breaks my heart to see some ppl turn thier backs on God and his only begotten son Jesus Christ. Tears almost started welling up at the sight of that, but I also understand where ya might be coming from, and if u dont believe in a god or hope or heaven then thats ok because I am tought to try and understand God\'s ways and if he doesn\'t want everyone to be a believer then that is souly a choice of his. I might not understand why he lets this happen but I know he has a reason. I\'ll just keep looking to the Bible for all the answers I need. Neyways, Im not trying to offend anyone for thier beliefs but I also hope ya will hear me out and accept me as a christan.
