Well when I was in college that was how everyone got their music. I think I signed up at least 10 times. Nothing like getting over 100 CDs for free. I think they finally have given up on trying to find me. At least I hope.
I know I am not the only one. Is it still easy to do? I haven\'t done it in a long while. Well, since I\'ve had a home and don\'t move every 6 months.

stealing is wrong! you are a bad, bad man....and yes I too have screwed them over.

I did that once. I actually intended to buy the CDs from them too, but then they only sent me 9 of my 10 free CDs, so I got mad and just didn\'t.

Heck Columbia doesn\'t care how many times you join, otherwise they would have made attempts to stop it
I join then sign up my wife and get the extra 4 CD\'s compolete my commitment and quit then I use my wifes membership and sign me up again and get another extra 4 free and keep doingit over and over again
unfortunately there\'s nothing in Columbia House I want anymore, oir I can\'t find 12 that are worth it to me

Id have to say a good 8 times for cd\'s and 3 times for dvd\'s :)

i pulled the old "I\'m under 18, you can\'t bill me" about 7 years ago. But I only did it because they didn\'t send all my cd\'s.

I got well over 100 cds. I changed addresses so much in college that I only got nagged once or twice and then I was outta there.
A couple times I called them and told them that I had no clue why they were sending me statements, that I never ordered from them. Being in a dorm I just told them someone else must have signed up under my name and gotten free CDs.
I then got broken into during a Thanksgiving break and a couple dudes stole a bunch of crap including all my CDs. Maybe there is a God and he was getting back at me.
