Title: Quake 3 Arena!!
Post by: 420_247_365 on March 04, 2002, 09:05:59 AM: Is there anyway to run Quake 3 arena in Windows 2000?
Is there an open gl setup update somewhere or is there no chance in ever getting it to work?

Are there any fixes or patches i could use?

but anyway like they said Win2k isnt for gaming - its a nice OS but XP is the way to go - but have at least 256mb ram if that - i need to upgrade to 512 soon

also 4/20 - march 20th is considered national weed day or whatever

so thats why 420 means that

quake 3 will run FINE on windows 2000
you probably DO NOT have a open GL supported card at work and thats why it wont work

You are most likely running with the default Win2k drivers, MS doesn\'t include OpenGL support in it\'s defaults. Just get the newest drivers from your vid card manufactorer

Other than a sarcastic reply, I\'d say go with mm\'s solution. Fragging on the clock is a great why to get fired. Nice idea there brainiac.. smoke some more of this while yer at it.....
