Title: Interact suing Pelican
Post by: ElwayLite on March 05, 2002, 11:14:17 AM
Interact says since the Codebreaker uses gameshark codes its violation since they have put so much time into the codes. I personally think its crap.

Interact might have a point in a way, but i hope they lose, they put out a product thats $10-$15 more and has been known to be somewhat buggy, and  somtimes doesnt even work with previous versions codes. My codebreaker works flawlessly and i got it for $24. Plus the fact i can add new codes whenever i want very easily.

They also say that the original Pelican codes are just modified Gameshark codes. And im supposed to care why? they could say that about anyone who came out with a code cd with a code that does the same thing as the Gameshark, whether its true or not.

I think they are just another greedy company trying to be the only one out there, and now we have another court case to waste taxpayer dollars.

Interact is just pissed off at Pelican because Pelican makes a better product, and is finally getting some recognision. Sucks to your Gameshark... it\'s about as buggy and crash prone as Windows 95.

I have a GS, but I only use it in situations of intense frustration or impatience.

Interact can bite me for encrypting their codes and pissing in the face of hacker wannabees.

Pelican can bite me for copying that routine.

M$\'s case against Michael Roberson\'s LindowsOS is not even as substantial as this one.  Which goes to show you what a pu$$y Gates is.

you must have a faulty version, cuz windows 95 was the worst ever, b wasnt much better.. 98 got aight, and i recently formatted my pc to install a clean version of ME, and it hardly ever has problems.

Elway what systems can you get a codebreaker for and can you get the codes on gamefaqs.com or somwhere else on the internet?  Plus do the codes do the exact same "enahancements" to games that the gameshark codes do or more/less?

Thanks for posting about this, I\'m looking for a game enhancer myself but the GS does seem like a ripoff at the cost of a single game.

the CB cd comes with like 220 codes on it.. then they have a site that you go to and get updated coded you enter yourself and they are saved on the memory card.

And you can enter GS codes to, i got mine at ccity last month for $25, i love it.

yeah ME is better than 95, and slightly less buggy, but even with my comps massive RAM is crashes constantly. Does Linux even have a blue screen? meh.
