Well last friday I got told I am getting Laid off. May 3rd will be the last day.
Nice that they told us though, also said we will get a fat bonus if we stay on till then.. Well they offered me a job down in the Philly area... I live a little outside Boston now, and I have just bought a house. Well I have not closed on it yet, but put a quite a bit of money into it.. Well my company will pay for any losses I have so thats good..
Anyone here from that area? Have any recommendations on where I should look to live, areas to stay away from?
Appreciate it. I have no idea, but I will be down there this friday to check things out... Thanks!!

Well, it sounds like your getting treated pretty good for getting laid off...nothing compared to Enron Workers, though :)

I feel for ya bro, I just did a physical inventory at work and found out that 400 troy ounces of silver bullion are missing. Since I am in charge of the physical bullion in the vault I am soooooo F*cked.

After a whole week of sweatin\' like Nixon over the missing silver, and wading thru mountains of invoices, purchase orders, inventory reports and transfers it has been revealed that another department took it to sell but never bought it from us.
F*ck yeah, it\'s not my fault!

This recession the country is in just keeps gettin\' worse. Where I live almost ever factory is laying off, \'cept the one I am at and they are even having some problems right now due to one massive mess up by a worker - that may cost us a customer . Go figure.

ive been unemployed for 3 months now. been trying like hell to find a job and ive had absolutly no luck. its starting to drive me crazy. im running out of places to apply at.
it doesnt help that i live out in the boonies.
ill get back at it tommorow.
