To buy or not to buy?  That is my question.

For info, see:

It looks kind of cool.

Go for it!  If you don\'t like it you can always trade it in...

well it\'s got good visuals but the gameplay seems so-so. IMHO it doesn\'t sound too interesting going around with a camera, taking photos of scary beings.

I say rent the thing before you spend the big bucks. It\'s the only way to be sure that you\'ll be spending your money wisely.

The only thing is that I\'m at college and all the video stores around here that carry video games won\'t let me rent them because I live in a temporary space (i.e. dorm).

Ouch! Sorry to hear that man. The software store I buy from gives me at least ten days to see if I am satisfied with a game. If I am not satisfied I can bring it back for a full refund. Is there any stores like that in your area?

Does Electronics Boutique do that?  Anybody know?  How \'bout Best Buy?  Thoses are the only stores that sell video games in my area.

The store that I was referring to does that. You should check it out.

If you like Resident Evil meets Silent Hill 2 only more disturbing, then you should buy it.  I didn\'t think I would enjoy it as much as Silent Hill 2, or Resident Evil.  " How much fun can taking pictures of deformed human ghosts be?"  One helluva scary good time.  I thought I couldn\'t be more freaked out than what Silent Hill 2 threw at me until I played this game for 3 hours!  I\'m having a blast!

The EB in my area has a 14-day return policy where the game, even if opened, can be exchanged for another game of equal value.  If you can\'t rent, I\'d find a game that you do want to buy other than this one, then buy fatal frame and return it when you\'re finished with it (so long as its in 14 days) if you don\'t want to keep it.   It\'s a safe bet either way and you\'ll get to go through 2 brand new games for the price of 50 bucks and get to keep one in the end.  Just make sure your EB promotes that policy.
