I went with my cousin and his girlfriend this weekend to go pick out tuxedos and put a downpayment on the hall where they\'re getting married this September.

He met her in an AOL chatroom five years ago. They\'ve been living together for 2 years. Granted, not a game.. but still it was an online relationship. Does it really matter where two people meet? I\'ve even met someone really special to me while playing an online game, (PSO).. though it\'s nothing even remotely close to marrage.. I am ready to hop a bus and go see her whenever we both decided that it\'s gotten to that point. Who knows, if things work out and head in the direction of a chapel then I\'ll be just like those people in the linked story. Cept, we\'re not Korean.. and we were killing Boombas and not Skeletons.

Going out online TO LOOK for love, is lame. I don\'t see anything wrong with it if it\'s just one of those things that happen though. After all (Mimic\'s Hal\'s voice), Don\'t ya think love can bloom anywhere.. even on a battlefield?

good point SonyFan. I don\'t think it really matters but I don\'t think I ever could meet a potential girlfriend of wife on the inet. What I\'m first attracted to in a girl is the looks, let\'s face it, it\'s the first impression you get.
I need a girl who I can spend time with in reality not chatting with on the inet.

I have met plenty of people online who have become very important to me, no matter that I have never even seen them.

But yea, that\'s not exactly marriage either. :)

Everyone do what their heart tells em to, and I have nothing to say against that. Whatever makes them happy.

People are going to do what they want to do, but as for me, I will just stick to relationships that I make away from the net.

my girlfriend lives in michigan, bout 4 hours away. when we first met, we talked alot on msn. cause phone bills wouldve been too high.

we still saw each other every couple weeks, but the majority of the "getting to know you" phase for us was done over the internet.
