Does anyone know what make the truck in "Jeepers Creepers" was? I know it was modded, but it was completely bad ass! Any help would be appreciated.
-
I loved that movie!!! I think it was a truck made specifically for the movie... nothing looks anything like it anyways....
-
I was just looking around and I think it might be an old Studebaker M series. check this out, what do u guys think?

*edit* here it is, I found it, it\'s an old studebaker m15 dump truck

I honestly still dont think thats the car. Its similar. Maybe the one in the movie just had alot of rust and mods...
-
This movie was filmed right down the road from my home. They had the road blocked off and the area was lit-up at night like a football field. I really didn\'t think this movie would make it to the big screen. I was really shocked when I saw the trailer for it and I thought It might be OK... I was wrong. It was retarded and SHORT!!! I think they ran out of money and had to finish without filming the rest of the movie.
-
yeah liked that film, my gf was well scared!!! lol, so i scared her more!!! lol
****spoiler******
ive alwayswanted to see a film where the "baddies" win, and now i have.
juslight i think the reason you thought it was short is cos the "baddie"won, you sorta thinkhis sis is gonna go save him, but she dont it just ends, im sure its about 1 1/2, tat the normal time for a film

No, it was short. Check the running time HERE!!!! (http://www.blockbuster.com/bb/movie/details/0,7286,VID-V+++250572,00.html?)
That\'s MUCH shorter than what you thought. But I guess time flies when your having fun, and the opposite effect for watching this movie.
-
whats short about 90 mins, thats a hour and half!!!! most films are that long
-
I thought the average running time for a movie was about 2 hours.
I remember checking my watch at the end and thinking "That was short"
-
yah i thought it was sor, bu i checkedmy watch, i was like ohh maybenot , its been a hour and half.....maybe i was enjoying myself, thats why time went s fast...but it think the ending makes it seem shorter!!! you thik its gonna keep goin, she save hm, and it just ends!!!
-
It doesn\'t matter what length a film is, as long as it\'s the appropriate length for the story being told. I prefer a horror movie like this one, WITHOUT all the padding and empty scenes of lousy actors trying hopelessly to bring their two dimensional characters to life.
As an efficient little high energy horror picture, Jeepers Creepers was great. It reminded me of the first Evil Dead film in a way. Instead of including a huge amount of wind up at the beginning, describing who the victims are and why they are together, both films just drop their characters in the sh*t almost immediately. After that, it\'s almost just nonstop hammering on the senses until the end. I think it was highly effective.

Isn\'t that movie directed by that man who prefers young boys? I\'ve forgotten his name.
-
Yeah, its pretty much so the only movie I remember seeing where the bad guy kills the main star and wins!!!
The eye thing was very cool.
-
Yes, I also live close to where they filmed that movie, and I climbed down that hole, and there was nothing but I giant pile of cheese......so I ate it... all of it. ask Justlight.... he was there... it was, most definately, not an ordinary moment.
-
You guys are all idiots in my minds now, that movie was the worst movie to come out in the last decade. You guys have to be joking. Anybody who goes into that theater not laughing their asses off deserves to be punched by Tonya Harding.

I thought the first part of Jeepers Creepers was pretty good, but when they finally showed \'The Creeper\'...SUPER LAME!!!!!!!!!! After that the film deteriorated rapidly. What a waste of potential.

exactly, i thought the first 10-15mins was good, it "seemed" scary, but once that thing came about, i was like, "WTF is this?!?!?" it was totally lame, damn, i haven\'t seen a scary movie in such a long time, come on hollywood, SCARE ME!!!
-
i agree with Kane. I dislike movies that use a horrific looking monster to scare people, I prefer the use of suspence, and the unknown.

YEAH!!! all the stars were pissed when they found out someone ate the props for the ALL IMPORTANT "CHEESE SCENE"
Then they had to go to SEARS and borrow maniquins and make up the rest of the story.
<----- Thinks the original "JEEPERS CHEESERS" would have been a better film.

I am now a broken man, because your approval meant so much to me!
Seriously, I don\'t think it\'s fair to call other people idiots because they don\'t share your same distain for a movie.
I also don\'t think it\'s fair to say that Jeepers Creepers was "the worst movie to come out in the last decade." If you look at some collections of reviews like http://www.mrqe.com/lookup?jeepers+creepers and http://www.rottentomatoes.com/movie-1109558/ you\'ll see that most of the critics gave it 2 out of 4 stars, or maybe a mixed review. Many of them said that the first 40 minutes are great, but then it went downhill from there. I don\'t think that qualifies as the worst movie of the last decade. I\'m not saying this was one of the greatest films of all time, but it wasn\'t the worst either.
Hell, I\'d rate Jeepers Creepers above Titanic, and that piece of dried sh1te won best picture! There\'s no accounting for taste.

Ever since the whole Tomb Raider debaucle, I don\'t go see any movies recommended by people on this board. Except for a few of you who see the world with my same glasses, I think the taste in movies here is whacked.
-
For me it\'s a tie between "Jeepers Creepers" & "Frankenweenie" (sorry about that Frankenweenie fans.)
-
Yeah it was a pretty average film.
I thought the first bit was cool but then it seemed to just flick from pointless scene to pointless scene just to fill in time. Like the bit with the old lady and the cats.
The ending was original. So its fairly good but I don\'t think ill get it on DVD.
That van BTW was fairly freaky.
Rich.

Bleh, you\'re just an old fart. ;)
But seriously, some people here have an odd taste in films... I don\'t consider myself one of them though.

Jeepers isn\'t really that bad. The first half was definitely the best. Once they get to the Diner it call goes down hill in my opinion. The movie sort of reminded me of Stephen Kings Storm of the Century in that you never really find out what the creature is. Personally I thought the "Creeper" was pretty lame, he looked like a cross between a gargoyle and the Djinn from Wishmaster (that movie totally sucked). Well, at least he didn\'t talk  that would have really killed it for me.

I saw this movie today, and I kinda liked it :) First, I thought it was "another" Scream movie.... but then it wasnt suddenly :) Even though it was not realy scary (like Event Horizon etc), it was still good .... Cant say it is a bad movie, like Scream, I know what you did last summer etc.... that is bad scary movies.
