i digged the ps2 one, so i figured why not
but then i read this from gamespot
The game actually manages to look worse than the PlayStation 2 version in several important ways.
do i blame paradigm or do i blame my dust collector?

..The PlayStation 2 remake of Spy Hunter was a pleasant surprise, as it capably delivered in all the categories that a Spy Hunter fan would expect it to. While it\'s virtually identical to the PlayStation 2 version, the Xbox version is made virtually unplayable by the drab, choppy graphics...
You would think that such an unspectacular(graphically) title such
as this would be easily port to the "so easy to develop for" X-Box and expect it to runs with half the CPU turn on. /sarcasm
Well, it\'s either this or SEGA is sleeping...I wonder who made the port for SEGA.

Perhaps it started as PS2 game only, the Xbox being an after thought. Lazy and didn\'t optimize the code...

English....getting....worse..
Its not uncommon around ports.. Especially PC to PS2.

Do you already have it for PS2? If so then why would you put out $50 for an XBox copy also? Personally, I didn\'t like the game all that much. I have it for PS2, but it doesn\'t get much play.

i was ONCE pulled up for the improper use of the Queens Toung, but thats a completly diffrent story and i was nearly thrown in the tower of London.

Err, what does SEGA have to do with Spy Hunter on the Xbox? The game was developed by Paradigm and published by Midway.
How dare you bring SEGA into this? Sacrilege! :)

Well guess I cant argue with u there...sigh, but after it being on the DC and everyone out playing it no one really wanted to buy it on the PS2 neyways.

Speaking of bad frame rates, slowdown etc, I have been playing Wreckless on the Xbox recently and I have noticed quite a bit of slowdown and severe fluxuations of framerates. Especially when a lot of stuff is happening on screen. Damn P3 ;) This is the second game I have heard of doing this. Hopefully its just sloppy programming and won\'t become a recurring problem. Does anyone else have any Xbox games where this happens?

I only have 2 XBox games(Halo and 4x4 Evo) and I haven\'t had any problems. Though I admit I have barely played 4x4 Evo because it pretty much sucks in my opinion.
I did play Wreckless in the store and I wasn\'t very impressed. I noticed a lot of clipping.

Since the Xbox is basically a PC, I think we are going to see a lot more of that (clipping). When it happened to me, I thought to myself that this is familiar. It is familiar because it used to happen when I was playing PC games that were pushing the limits of my system. Now that I hear Spyhunter (which I have for the PS2) does it, it makes me worry that when the poly count gets too high bad things start to happen - just like on the PC.

Credibility? MM, I probably have played video games twice as long as you have. Does the number of posts make you anymore intelligent or just prove you don\'t really have a life? Unlike you I won\'t pass judgement on that issue. Just because you have over 4000 posts doesn\'t make you $hit. After lurking around here for the past 2 months I have noticed most of your posts are 4 to 10 words long and usually involve you slamming (pardon the slang) someone or basically just a three letter post:
