More information on Square\'s development for Nintendo
[03.11.02] ยป Could the Zodiac Brave Story soon unfold in your pants?
The announcement which took the gaming world by storm last week has been followed up with information from Nintendo regarding Square\'s plans. A Final Fantasy game is currently in development that will take advantage of the connectivity between the GameCube and Game Boy Advance, though in what way is unknown. Very little is known about the project so far, but Square plans on releasing it in time for Christmas in Japan.
Nintendo also mentioned word of Square\'s development plans for the Game Boy Advance. At least two titles are in the works, one of which may be a port of Final Fantasy Tactics. The other title was not mentioned, nor were any tentative release dates.

That\'s good news for Nintendo. I think it will be Final Fantasy XI and will just enable some small interactions between GCN and GBA. But how is GCN online plan underway (since FFXI is an online RPG) - and accoarding to the official Square PR, FFXI and FFXII will be programmed with PS2 as their main platform...
These issues will not influence our business productivity for the present term. We are currently planning our business management for the next term and onwards such as "Final Fantasy XI" and "Final Fantasy XII", with Sony Computer Entertainment\'s PlayStation 2 as our main platform\'
so if it\'s not FFXI, what is it then?

Possibly the rumored Final Fantasy Unlimited...
