It\'s a "third party" backlight that you can order from Portable Monopoly and install into your GBA hardware (producing the effect seen in the two pics).

I use "third party" lightly since it was really just some kids tinkering with their GBAs til they got it to work right.

It\'s tempting but my ten dollar worm light keeps me from possibly causing $99 damage to my GBA.

The only mod I really wish I had is the Japanese/English switch mod for the GCN.  My God that\'s beautiful.
