xenosaga, wild arms didn\'t get good scores in famitsu, why?
Right now I can\'t wait to see lunar 3. I wonder if the keep the cartoon look. Please god no more cell shading games.

The only turn-based RPG I plan to buy in the next year or so is Suikoden III. I might also get Xenosaga, but it won\'t be for a while after it\'s released.

I have this fear that they just won\'t produce anymore quality turn based RPG\'s that I like. Even if they would just clone the style of say Final Fantasy Tactics or Vandal Hearts 1 I would be happy. I fear it won\'t happen though. Another game along those lines was Master of Monsters for the PS1. Anyone else play that game? Would be neat to see a Master of Monsters 2 for the PS2. I think the original was on the Sega system.

I\'ll be getting Xenosaga, and of course, Wild Arms Advanced 3rd.

I\'m not planning on getting any - not really my sort of game.

Well then get the hell outta here!!!!!!111111111:mad:

yeah I\'m nit getting any either because I can\'t stand Turn Based combat.
It bums me out though becasue I love the whole Fantasy realm type games with Dragons and Wizards and Knights and all that. And I love a deep story, Unfortunantley most of those type of games are Turned based.
We need more Drakan type games.

I haven\'t yet looked at what scores famitsu gave these games, but to me its understandable why these two games would not have great scores to begin with.
I earlier posted my impressions about Xenosaga, and in it I tried to give it the most optimistic thoughts. However to tell you the complete truth, I don\'t consider a AAA game in the least. Its a good game, with excellent graphics, but the story\'s too short, the game\'s too simple and easy, and its not really an RPG so to speak.
As for Wild Arms 3, i bought it yesterday, played it for about an hour, and I have to say, I\'m not much impressed with the game so far. I\'ll post my impressions on a separate thread about this game.
Its kinda sad, because I really looked forward to these two games, and in a sense I was kinda let down. Actually I guess Xenosaga wan\'t really much of a letdown because I pretty much like it as it is, and when they release Episode 2, I\'ll be one of the first ones buying it. Wild Arms 4??? I dunno, I\'ll think about it for a little bit. I\'ll keep playing Wild Arms 3 until I finish it, and then I\'ll probably make my decision.
