I really don\'t think it will reach 1 million in japan.. europe i\'m not sure. If they dropped the price to normal levels it might be able to break a million

The Xbox doesn\'t have anything on it to attract that audience right now...that and the competition is strong and set at a lower price.

If games like Project Ego, Panzer Dragoon, Brute Force, Unreal Championship, Duality, Doom 3,  Enclave, Breed, Elderscrolls, etc live up to their hype it\'s sure to attract a new wave of gamers...in Europe and the US anyway.  (That and a lower price in Europe, it\'s ridiculous right now.)

I don\'t see anything that would impact Japan though...

By the 2002 Holiday season, all the above will be out.  If these don\'t effect sales, nothing will.

I guess there\'s nothing else to do but wait and see, and enjoy what I have right now.  (thinks of JSRF:D, love that game)

I voted for June/July.  I think Microsoft will do something big at E3 which will boost sales enough to push the userbase over a million.

I don\'t have a crystal ball but when people have gotten a chance to adjust to this new console (and seen the games), it\'ll surely hit a million and more.

uhh.. you know.. this has nothing to do with what we think of the consoles  :)  any idiot can figure out that its selling poorly and will continue to do so for quite some time.. possibly.. forever  :)

buh, you can hope all you want, i know that (no matter how it sounds it) people are basing their predictions on what they have seen, and what they are expecting.. you stop coming in here throwing your bull**** about thinking we are all fanboys just because we prefer a console.. and are vocal about it.. not everyone on a PS2 board who believes that XBox wont hit the million sales mark within a year are biased and letting their opinions cloud their judgements..

sorry, im just used to saying that  :)  

let me go again  :)  you should stop coming in here saying we are all biased.. fact is, most people bought the XBox, most people played the XBox, and most people are waiting for more XBox games to be released to play it again  :)  til that happens, those who dont like the XBox games, or prefer the PS2 games will keep voicing their opinions  :)

I really don\'t feel that a lot of you guys are biased because I get the sense that a lot of you guys will call a spade a spade. But, there are some here that revel in MS crapping the bed. That\'s what I find interesting.

I want competition because I like gaming. It can only get better if MS stays strong in this market.
