Actually it makes perfect sense to me.  If I were Microsoft, I would be pretty pissed that I couldn\'t put Xbox\'s on the show floor while Sony could put PS2\'s out labeling them as "Technology demonstrations".  Here is a link to Gamespot where it has a better representation of the situation.

MS knew the PS2 would steal their thunder. So....they were smart to not let the better console steal the show. :D

always hated zdnet

anyways, sony withdrew the PS2\'s by choice
they didnt have to. they certainly werent kicked out.  they cant be playable by the general public, thats the only rule
