Title: Zelda arrives on PS2???
Post by: Mr. Kennedy on March 21, 2002, 07:48:37 PM: According to the April \'02 edition of Playstation Magazine, the orginal Zelda (ya know before the cell shading) will now be on PS2. Nintendo\'s feeling are that they will keep Gamecube to a younger audience, while they can profit off the older crowd on PS2.

Is this a smart move or a dumb move by Nintendo?

Post by: KillaX on March 21, 2002, 07:55:34 PM: YES! it is about f\'n time I can Play the original zeldas....I hope they "update" them a bit tho.......or put all 3 on one disk....maybe there will be more games to come....we can only hope.....! I bought a GBA hoping that the original zeldas would eventaully land on there.....nothing yet......

When I first saw this thread I said to myself... "That idiot fell for it! HAHA hilarious.."

This was just a good laugh...:D

Since Next-Gen died I\'ve been getting that magazine.. It\'s not bad... But I hate it that PS2 only, cause I wanna know what\'s going on with Xbox and Gamecube too.:(

I see it as if they have some "decent" and I do mean decent character modeling, textures, sound clips, acting, and some good gameplay, it has potiental. Zelda attracts as many freaks as Mario does, and it will sell regardless of the effort put in. But pending whether Nintendo\'s strategy lies successful is what I just mentioned just up there on what it needs to accomplish off the bat.

We definately don\'t need Nintendo acting like it has a massive bad ass ego (insert big N joke here) and go out of their way and make some redicilous marketing campign that shows Zelda with a gun or making out with another Zelda look alike. Just do enough to attract the rest of us whose time is better spent off playing some GTA3.
