I would say that FF7 was the best ending I ever saw in my life...like a fairy tale or something...hang on, let me bang my head against the wall ^$#@^$...like a good ending to a brilliant game.:)
-
Broken Sword 1 for PS1, that game was so intense plot wise. I love those kinda games. Also, Shadow of The Comet on PC and Monkey Island 1 on PC too.
-
Ico is up there with the best of them.
-
Personally, I thought FFX\'s ending alone was worth a buy. It was like one of those twisted Twilight Zone endings that makes you think.
-
OddWorld: Munch\'s Oddyess (only if you have excellent Quarma).
RE: CV X (it explains a lot that CV didn\'t).
To be honest, it is hard for me to pick a game, as I can\'t say any game ending has ever really stood out in my mind.
-
I thought the ending to Zelda, Ocarina of Time was good. So was FF7. But the other night I was watching the ending to FFX and can honestly say that it was my all time favorite ending to this day.:nerd:
-
I can honestly say I like all the FF series endings.... even VIII. I like endings that leave things a bit open and to interpretation...
-
i am going to sound like a total loon and say MGS2
-
prob mgs, or mgs2!!!! maybe ff7, i dunno its hard!!!!
-
FFX
-
I know I posted earlier, but I forgot to mention Diablo for the pc and ps1 as well.(https://psx5central.com/community/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.plauder-smilies.de%2Fdevil%2Fsalook.gif&hash=f5557365261a435132ca0bd149a6734ea9992e77)

I haven\'t played FFX yet, so my vote goes to FF7
-
Shenmue 2...
Basically, all of Disc 4 was an interactive ending you controlled the pace of.
-
I as well shall tally in a vote for FFX.
-
Silent Hill. :D
-
Halo had a decent ending. Leads you to believe there will be a sequel.

I\'m with ya loon! MGS2 all the way BABY!!

This is a tough decision, because I\'ve played plenty of games with some very good endings...
The first game I thought of when I read the topic title was Tenchu, which doesn\'t surprise me much since I thought it had one of the most emotional endings I\'ve ever seen. Although it\'s rather simple, it\'s incredibly captivating, which is what I look for most in a game\'s ending.
But I can\'t forget to mention Suikoden and Suikoden II. Neither of the games really had a true ending, but the way the games end (with descriptions of what each of the 108 Stars do after the war) is unique and strangely satisfying.

I agree... best ending I have seen :) And when the game realy was like The End... u just wanted to play Shenmue 3 straight ahead, to know what will happen next hehe.
And the BEST part of the game for me was: On the rooftop at the end of disc 3 I was so damn sure it was the end of the game.... then it suddenly came Insert Disc 4... and I thought, wtf... there is another disc ?
-
Metal Gear frickin Solid 2.
-
Final Fantasy X. It had an ending that wasn\'t very predictable. It\'s hard to explain but its almost like it had a realistic approach to it in order to teach us a moral.
-
I have yet to see FFX... But MGS2 and Ico were beautiful.
-
Anybody remember Super Mario RPG? That had one of the best endings ever. Oh, and I agree on Suikoden, as well.:bounce:
-
......I cant decide since ive never really finished a game in my life!
-
Metal Gear Solid 2
Final Fantasy 8
Final Fantasy 9
Final Fantasy 7 (500 years later.. eery)

Right on...
I was surprised to see it tell me to insert Disc 4 as I was sure that was the Passport/Collection Disc.
Although I was disappointed, expecting there to be actual gameplay, other than walking and talking, it was a great idea by Sega.
And yes, it did make you wanna play part 3 really bad...
-
FFVIII had a nice ending IMo
and ofcourse mgs2 (even though my sound left me halfway through)
-
The top 3 I have in mind are Devil may cry, Zelda: Ocarina of time and Donkey kong 64. I have heard a lot about the brilliance of the final fantasy endings, but haven\'t yet experienced one for myself.

Its just my opinion but i thought that both mgs\'s endings werent that great. But i can agree that FFVII ending was great. It reminded me of a home video

I had no choice but to love the ending of FFVII... I mean.. it wasn\'t all that incredible. But it was FFVII. :) I was content with the ending. No disappointments whatsoever. It just wasn\'t spectacular. :)
Well... I suppose I have to say FFVIII had the best ending... I hate saying that though. It was just so beautiful, brought tears to my eyes and even made me almost care about the characters. I loved the long FMV sequence. Plus... The game pretty much sucked so I was relieved to see it end. ;)

Yeah, that\'s exactly what I wasn\'t thinking about :p
Shenmue 2, the 4th disc was just awesome, me wants part 3! NOW!
Silent Hill 2, how all the stuff started to unravel near the end, genius.
Rez, the last level was just something special...
Skies of Arcadia, clichéd as heck, nothing much special, but it just made me feel really content and satisfied
FFVII, I need not say more I guess.
FFVIII, game sucked, ending rocked, odd.
