Title: So whats been the best game you played on PS2 so far?

My vote would be GTA3 or Silent Hill 2. Both games amaze me. :)

I guess my vote goes to either Final Fantasy X or Dynasty Warriors 3, since I\'ve spent hundreds of hours on each of them alone. ICO and MGS2 are up there too, though I\'ve yet to put as much time into them as I have with the aforementioned titles.

Everyone seems to like GTA3, but I think that survival horror has to be your kind of thing to end up liking Silent Hill 2. I was so excited the day that i bought the game, more excited than the day I bouht MGS2. (I had to convince my brother to lend me some money so that I could buy it)

I personally thought that the game had a better story than MGS2... but then again it is just my opinion, as I like these kind of games.

Devil May Cry : Now THIS is what I want from a game nowadays, kickass action all the way through and no stupid cutscenes every 3 minutes. It also takes skill, which is good. And Dante is AGILE!!!!!! For god\'s sake, I can\'t play RE games ever again, ack. It just rawks like no other game on this world.

BurnOut : Another game for quick thrills and for those with skills, nigh on perfect for my tastes.

I seem to lack patience when it comes to games nowadays... I want instant gratification and fast paced thrills...

But Silent Hill 2 I still love, no matter what, a work of pure genius. The storyline just about wipes the floor with any opposition. Silent Hill as a place is just so damn... interesting, I wanna know more... bring on SH3!

Have you seen the information on WE6? Here is some information on the improvements that it will have:

Anyway, i\'ll give you my top 5 all time favourite PS2 games...

1) Ico
2) GTA3
3) GT3
4) Tony Hawks Pro Skater 3
5) SSX(Tricky)

There\'s loads of other games but i\'ll keep it down to a measly 5..

Ico has to be the most involving game i have ever played in my life.. it really grabbed me and should not be overlooked.

Please people, go out there and support the developers of Ico. it\'s absolutley beautiful.

One thing that i\'m still unsettled on with Ico, is that i\'d like to see a sequel to the game, but i think that it could never
hold upto the original. i think that it would be best left \'untarnished\' by a sequel that wasn\'t as good as it\'s predecessor.

I\'m hoping that sony will put more development effort into games like Ico, they have a strong place in the PS2\'s library.
Imho, ico feels like a true \'Third Place\'. once you get involved, your proper hooked.

I think what he means is these are the games that he loved, but there were some that he didnt like, which he hasnt listed. If these are games he didnt like, theres something wrong upstairs ajoh!!!!!

and my dark horse is Timesplitters - considering I\'ve had it since November 2000 (Australian PS2 launch date) and still play it today it rates as a definite favourite.

Thats cool mate. Its so good that someone knows what it is. Impact Records have stopped but hardcore as a whole is going really well at the moment.

DJ Seduction (my favorite artist and producer ever) left around 1998 rather shaderly when he sold the rights to the hardcore heaven album to Japan to make an album called Dance Mania Speed. All the other artists got very mad so I guess this is why he left.

The Impact Records stuff is amazing though.
